Safety
A ticket is not competence
Anyone can hold a card. We check that our people are actually competent and safe in the work they are doing, on the site they are doing it on.
Behaviour Observations
Undertaken at every site. Not a paperwork exercise: an observation of the work as it happens, to confirm our team members do not just hold a ticket but perform the work safely and competently.
Training matrix
Kept for every team member and regularly updated, so no qualification quietly lapses and we always know who is current on what.
Refreshed to standard
Work Safely at Heights and Confined Space competencies are refreshed at the industry standard of every two years, not left to run to expiry.
Designed out, not managed around
The largest safety decision on any job is made before anyone climbs anything.
An advanced scaffolder assesses the site, the access points and the hazards, and designs to what is actually there. A competent structural or temporary-works engineer then verifies it. Our designs comply fully with the relevant regulations, which minimises your risk of incidents and of regulatory fines.
Scaffold that fits the job also gets altered less once it is standing, and alterations are where a great deal of scaffolding risk sits.
