Most access problems in maritime work are invisible on a plan. Where the gangway lands. What happens to your bearing points at low water. Which trades need to be inside the structure at the same time, and for how long. Whether the vessel is still working while you build around it.
An advanced scaffolder walks the job first and designs to what is actually there. The engineer then verifies it. That order matters, and it is the reason our maritime scaffold tends to need fewer changes once it is up.
